CHANGES:

• All permits, including permit, re-issue of permits, certificates of occupancy, inspection sheets, installation lists, etc., will be charged an Administrative Fee of $25.00

• Increases in Review Fee (FKA Submittal Fees) for Land Disturbance Permits

• Land Disturbance Permits now based on valuation – inspection fees remain unchanged

• Building Valuation calculated on fixed factors

Examples:

Single Family Home Permit, 1800 square foot livable area

Currently:   valuation of $67,500 = permit fee of $337.50

New:     valuation of $72,000 = permit fee of $786.75

 

Land Disturbance Plan Review Fee, 100 lot subdivision

Currently:   $125 plus $10 per lot - $1,125

New:     $350 plus $20 per lot - $2,350

 

 Land Disturbance Permit Fees, cost of construction $100,000

 Currently:   5% of estimated construction costs = $5,000

 New:     Valuation Chart = $10,550

 

 Land Disturbance Permit Fees, cost of construction $1,000,000

 Currently:   5% of estimated construction costs = $50,000

 New:     Valuation Chart = $31,800

 

Sign Permit Fee, valuation of construction $10,000

Currently:   0.5% of value = $50

New:     Use Valuation Chart = $181
