The Department of Environment and Community Development promotes the County's vision, mission, and goals by:

• Community development and housing programs that target low and moderate income County residents.
• Zoning and permitting services.
• Development review.
• Geographic Information System (GIS) support.
• Enforcement of building, zoning, development, and environmental ordinances.
